Omihon was incorporated in Manchester in 2021. We build custom software for growing businesses, and we ship our own products from the same practice.
We're deliberately small. Every line of code is written by people who care about what it'll do to the thing it's built on top of in two years' time. That matters more to us than growing headcount.
We don't have a sales team. We don't have account managers. If you're speaking to someone from Omihon, you're speaking to someone who can also build the thing.
A few principles, held seriously.
Software should fit the business, not the other way round.
Most off-the-shelf tools force you to reshape how you work to fit what they do. Custom software does the opposite. We only build when that trade-off is worth it — and we'll tell you honestly when it isn't.
Boring technology, used well.
We pick stacks because they work, not because they're fashionable. FastAPI, Next.js, Python, WordPress when it fits. We'd rather ship something maintainable than something clever.
Honest about limits.
We're not a 200-person agency and we don't pretend to be. If your project needs a different kind of studio, we'll say so. If you need specialists in something we don't do, we'll point you elsewhere.
The handover matters.
A good build isn't one that works on launch day. It's one that still works two years later, in the hands of whoever inherits it. We write documentation, we set up deployment that your team can actually maintain, and we stay available after we leave.
Registered, regulated, traceable.
Omihon Ltd is a UK private limited company, incorporated 22 March 2021 and registered with Companies House. We're registered with the Information Commissioner's Office for data protection (ZB906189). Our registered office is in Manchester.
