Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
Omihon Ltd ("Omihon", "we", "us") takes privacy seriously. This page explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
We've kept this policy short and in plain English. If anything isn't clear, email info@omihon.com.
Who we are
Omihon Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office in Manchester, United Kingdom. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZB906189.
For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, Omihon Ltd is the "data controller" for personal data collected through this website.
What we collect and why
Contact form submissions. When you use the contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address, optional company name, and the content of your message. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and to maintain a record of the conversation.
Email correspondence. If you email us directly, we hold that correspondence in our email system for as long as it remains commercially relevant.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages accessed, time of access) for security, performance, and abuse prevention. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not linked to any other personal information.
We do not use analytics or tracking cookies on this website. We do not build behavioural profiles of visitors. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Legal basis
We process contact form and email data on the basis of legitimate interest — specifically, responding to business enquiries directed at us. For prospective clients, this processing is necessary to explore whether we can work together, which is a normal business interaction both parties reasonably expect.
Server logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and functional website.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions and related email correspondence are retained for up to three years from the last substantive interaction, after which they are deleted unless there is a specific legal, commercial, or contractual reason to keep them longer.
Server logs are retained for a short rolling period (typically 30–90 days) by our hosting provider.
Who we share it with
We use trusted third-party services to operate this website and our business: a hosting provider that stores the website and any data submitted through it, and an email provider that handles incoming and outgoing email. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by contractual obligations to protect it. We do not share your data with anyone for their own marketing, advertising, or profiling purposes.
We may disclose personal data to law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required to do so by law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct inaccurate data, to ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements), to ask us to restrict or object to our processing of your data, to ask us to transfer your data to another provider, to withdraw consent at any time where consent was the basis of processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@omihon.com. We will respond within one month.
Cookies
This website does not set tracking cookies. It may set strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function (for example, to maintain a form session). No cookie banner is required because we do not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or profiling.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date above. If the changes are substantial, we will make reasonable efforts to notify people who have recent active correspondence with us.
