Fenton's Farm — a web presence for a diversified Nigerian agricultural company
Fenton's Farm operates across an unusually diverse set of agricultural activities — cassava, yam, plantain, potato, cocoyam, and maize plantations alongside fish farming and both broiler and layer poultry operations. Based in Benin City, they needed a web presence that could represent this breadth to commercial buyers, partners, and potential distributors without reducing the business to a single crop or product line.
The brief was commercial credibility. In the Nigerian agricultural sector, buyers increasingly look online before initiating contact, and the absence of a proper site loses deals before conversations start.
A custom WordPress site structured around the farm's operational categories, giving each crop and farming activity its own clearly presented section rather than burying them in a single generic products list. The design prioritised imagery — farming is a visual business, and text-heavy pages don't convert the kind of buyers Fenton's wants to reach.
The site includes a working contact flow for enquiries, social links (Facebook and Instagram) for the audience segments more reachable through those channels, and a location block that makes the Benin City base visible without being the lead story.
Fenton's Farm now has a presence that matches the scale of their operation and supports direct enquiries from commercial buyers. Live at fentonsfarm.com.ng.
